Universal Imports reserve the right to change these terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the site. Please check this page of the site periodically. If you violate these terms, Universal Imports may terminate your use of the site, ban you from future use of the site, cancel products you receive through the site, cancel your product order, and/or take appropriate legal action against you. Please read the following terms and conditions of sale carefully before ordering products from us. By purchasing goods from us, you agree to these terms of sale. These terms do not replace or affect your statutory rights. In these terms, "you" and "your" refer to the customer and "we", "us" and "our" refer to Universal Imports.
The price you will pay for the goods is the price in the email confirmation. Where applicable you shall be given an estimated time for delivery at the time your order is placed. Where goods become available for delivery at different times we reserve the right to deliver them in stages. Liability for the goods passes to you upon delivery.
For deliveries outside of the UK, your order may incur an additional charge. You will be contacted after your order has been processed to make payment for the extra carriage charge. If you have any queries regarding this, please contact us directly on 0845 686 1830 before placing your order.
In addition to your statutory rights, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
When you place an order via this website you are covered under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) and the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations (2002). You may cancel your order anytime from when you place it to 7 working days after the date you received the goods. The cost of returning the goods unless damaged or faulty are to be borne by the consumer
In the event of Universal Imports sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or wrong item, you must return the original item to Universal Imports within 28 days otherwise we have the right to charge the price of the replacement item to the payment card used for the original order.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
All online promotions are on a ‘Whilst Stock Lasts’ basis and subject to change or removal without notice. No purchase price is guaranteed until the order is despatched
We will charge your card after you have inputted your payment details and confirmed your order online. A contract for the sale of any product(s) you order from us is only created once we have emailed your order confirmation after payment has been received.
We will not be legally bound by any factual or typographical errors on the website or other promotional materials.
Orders are subject to availability of stock.
We reserve the right to delay delivery or to cancel the order or reduce the volume of the goods ordered by you (without any liability to you) if we are prevented from or delayed in the carrying on of our business due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including without limitation acts of God, governmental actions, war or national emergency, riot, civil commotion, fire, explosion, flood, epidemic, lock out, strikes or other labour disputes (whether or not relating to either party's work force), or restraints or delays affecting carriers or inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials.
To fullest extent permitted at law and except in respect of death and personal injury caused by negligence on our part or on the part of our employees we shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty condition or other term or any duty at common law or under express terms of the contract for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by negligence on our part or the part of our employees or agents or otherwise) which arise from or in connection with the use of the website, the supply of goods or their use or resale by you, and our entire liability under or in connection with the contract shall not exceed the price of the goods, except expressly provided in these conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights.
English law governs these terms, and each part of these terms shall apply to the extent permitted thereby. Any part of these terms which is prohibited or unenforceable in any jurisdiction is ineffective as to that jurisdiction only to the extent of the prohibition or unenforceability. That does not invalidate the remaining parts of these terms nor affect the validity or enforceability of that part in any other jurisdiction.
